-I had heard that Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics are free from gog.com today!  I checked the web site and they are free for 14 more hours. EDIT: I also got 7 other free games for joining today!
-I can't remember if it was The IGN Games e-newsletter, Gamespot e-newsletter, or both that I was subscribed to where they had a free game download each month. You read that right, Gamespot, not Gamestop.
-Return to Castle Wolfenstein Enemy Territory is now freeware on the internet.
-Fileplanet.com, fileshack, download.com, and http://www.3drealms.com/downloads.html have free game downloads.  Some games have to be emulated with http://www.dosbox.com/ , http://scummvm.org/ , or another emulator from http://www.zophar.net/pc.html.
-This will be the thread where you can post promotions for absolutely free games!  No illegal copy-protected games, please.

There's another free game on Origin.  I think that it's Sci-Fi and called Crusader: No Remorse.  I've posted here for Origin enough and I don't want Origin monopolizing this thread.  Download Origin and watch for free games yourself.  I think I'll post only for other game companies' free games from now on.

It would seem as if dragons invaded Earth at Japan & you have to form teams to fight them.  From watching the video, this seems to be a version of the game with English text, but not voices translated to English.

Unreal is 47 missions, I believe.  I’ve never completed it.  I think that Unreal: Return to Na Pali takes place on Na Pali, a space alien moon with water, jungles, and reptilians.

Lol in the 1990's I managed to get stuck in DOOM E1L3 and never advanced until later. Wolf 3D is another thing; played the WL1 for sometime before discovering E1L10 even existed! Lol.

I've completed Doom's episode 1 not including reaching the secret level accessed from level 3.  I also played Wolfenstein 3D awhile in 1992 and 1993 before I knew that the episode 1 secret level existed!

The playable preview of 3D Realms’ Graven is available until December 13 at https://store.steampowered.com/app/1371690/GRAVEN/ .  I don’t know a lot about the game, but my first impression is that the spell book reminds me of Heretic, Hexen, or a Doom 2 mod that I think was called Aeons of Death.

Go to the google.com home page today.  Click on the artwork to watch a Japanese-themed animation that's about 60 or 90 seconds.  Then you get to play a Japanese-themed game with English with resolution that reminds me of DOSBox or Scummvm.  They seem to have spent a lot of time on the music, animation, and game.

I think that in 1996, I had The Duke Nukem 3D CD-Rom for Christmas.  It included a little bit of 3D Realms advertising for Blood, the first Shadow Warrior, the first Prey, and I was a little confused about the story lines of these games.

I know of Fallout.  I knew a co-worker where she and her girlfriend burnt out the X-Box by playing so much Fallout 4!  On today’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson show, she interviewed a lady from Fallout Season 1 from Amazon Prime.  Season 1 has 8 episodes.  If you have Amazon Prime, then go to https://www.amazon.com/Fallout-Season-1/dp/B0CN4HV16N , scroll down to “Visit Vault 33 NOW!  Explore the world of Fallout” and click Enter.  There’s videos with an interactive point-and-click interface that’s not Adobe Flash, but reminds me of Adobe Flash.  It’s free.
