    So I'm currently playing through Wolfenstein 3D for the first time and (I'm just starting episode 4) I'm finally sick of the strafing system and lack of automap. I decided to get a source port but none of them work quite how I want. NewWolf has wasd controls and an automap, but it also has that horrible graphics filter, you aren't able to finish the game and it doesn't really feel like wolfenstein any more. I really like Wolf4SDL as it feels like wolf3d and I managed to get wasd controls in it but there's no automap.

    I've tried fiddling around in the source code of wolf4sdl but I'm not very good with C++ (I'm in the second semester of learning java at university) so haven't been successful. Would someone be able to help me implement a newwolf style automap or (if they're feeling particularly generous Very Happy ) do it for me?
