HomeDoes anyone have the Carmack compression routine to go with CAL_CarmackExpand? The CAL_CarmackExpand() routine does decompression only.

- Download the Ted5 source code: http://www.3drealms.com/stuff/ted5.zip
- Open up TEDSRC\JHUFF.C
- Profit!

Thanks Chokster and Havoc! Havoc, I downloaded the Ted5 source and found the Carmack compression routine. 
Yes I had considered that. I'll see how I go with the Ted5 source first but thanks for the suggestion.Chokster37 wrote:I guess it would be possible to make your own version by reversing CarmackExpand... if you have a lot of free time.
