Anyone doing anything for Valentines day?

And what does "Will you be my Valentine?" mean?

In my world, Valentines Day is the suckiest and most evil day of the year. Valentine's Day can go suck the big one.

"Be my valentine" is just a specific way of saying "Wanna go out with me?"

Yeah Valentine's day is sucky any way you look at it: If you have no one it's a painful reminder, and if you do, it's another obligation to fulfill and/or chance for dashed expectations.

Painful reminder Andy? It just shows how out of touch I am with society. I was never really a people-person, and if I was in my childhood, that was wiped out during my middle school and high school years through bullying and no one gave a damn about helping the victims such as myself at the time. I really don't have anything in common with girls and I jump the gun because I feel like my window of opportunity is just about to fuse itself shut and then I won't be interested in relationships anymore once I'm in my 30s.

I'm close to the point that I accept being alone and will start looking only after myself. Look on the bright side, I can do whatever the hell I want inside my future home! LOL ! I can be weird sometimes if you know me well enough in-person.

You sound like a combination of me possibly in the future and my friend.

I know some who were born 9 months after Valentine's Day!

I'm going going to give this one girl a gift as a token of love. That's all, I think. I go to a store and there are isles devoted to Valentines Day, lol. I call it the "isle of love"...

My High School biology teacher's birthday was Valentine's Day. Also, his wife gave birth 9 months after Valentine's Day. Somebody was experimenting with a biologist! He must have had a Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Birthday.

I was bullied too. Some of my middle and high school classmates went to a different elementary school in the city and were called "The fifth grade class from Hell." Some of them made credible death threats or brought weapons to school. This was before The Columbine killing spree. I am very suspicious that some of the bullies were kicked out of schools for going on to bullying others or are in prison for violence or drugs. I avoid 1 particular old schoolmate like the plague and you couldn't pay me enough money to go near him. College was safer for me. However, in college there seemed to be 3 or 4 paranoid schizophrenics out of the very large population.

As far as not having anything in common with girls, I noticed that in my old high school of about 700 students, that most of them went to the prom with acquaintances, not steady girlfriends. Dating seemed awkward enough. You typed, "I can be weird sometimes if you know me well enough in-person." You don't seem weird to me.

Oh lawdie. This makes this forum seem hijacked by 40 year old virgins. They're people. You like them or you don't. Getting bullied. It sucks. But time passes, we learn how to deal with the idiots. Nothing in common with females... I guess either you don't know enough females or you are really THAT WEIRD.

I'm not going to bash people because they can't find a girlfriend, that is absolutely not my intentiob, it's just this thread, as Thomas said, is a real downer... I mean, I'd rather discuss (albeit horribly) about women, how women are different, how to get women etc (for fun) than to talk about our gloomy past.

In many ways, all women are the same. Differences - some are a smarter compared with other women. Personally, I prefer the red-haired girls. But in general for the love of important - health and money.

Yes, these women meet. But they were hard to call women. Secondly, it subconsciously her maternal instincts will be manifested in other areas. It's like the law of conservation of energy.

No, they are women because of their physiology, lol. Maternal instincts... depend son the person, once again. We're not puppets to ALL instincts set forth from the stone age, or I'll be raping somebody as we speak.

I absolutely have not. I've only read about them and seen them in movies.
