Klooni SDL v1.4 Beta Released


KFH Games has recently released a beta version of Klooni SDL version 1.4 - A Doom clone (a Doom to Wolf3D conversion that brings much of the Doom gameplay to Wolf3D). It contains 6 very good episodes. Requires either DOOM2.WAD, PLUTONIA.WAD or TNT.WAD from Doom II or Final Doom to play.
Available from KFH Games. Vista/Windows 7-compatible.

I've been playing this over the last couple of days and I totally love it. It's the most balanced Wolf-Doom game I've come across. Great stuff.

Yes, it is very well made. Six full episodes featuring many different scenarios. I played it all already in an earlier beta test but it's good to be playing it again as it has since had a lot of bug fixes.

I remember playing the DOS version some time back. Things have really improved since then. I hope they can sort the automap problems out. It's such a great addition.

Has anyone thought about making maps for it, at all? I intend to have a look once I've completed my playthrough but I've a feeling it may be a little out of my league to pull off anything worthwhile...

All I can say is that you are welcome to try atleast. If you ever get a mod out, we will be glad to host it for you.
