Lags with dosbox

Hello!

I need help. some games work in dosbox without problems. some do lag horrible.. can anyone help me to fix that?  i cant play trench warfare its only a black screen. in the main menu everything is all right.
the same problems i have with some other mods.

please help me

Make sure you've increased the cycles per second to make Dosbox use more of your CPU. What happens is, as you increase cycles, lag decreases, until your CPU can't keep up, where your lag increases once again. Find that sweet spot and stick to it.

I've already mentioned cpu cycles setting. Past that, all you can do is play SDL games.
