While clearly nothing in the Lost Episodes is anywhere near top caliber or great, I do feel that the second one Ultimate Challenge at least has mostly competently/sensibly designed maps in it that it is possible to even enjoy to some extent as long as you don't go in with any high expectations. It's at least clearly not as bad as Return to Danger IMO, which along with everything else has levels that seem to be almost all poorly and predictably designed - some even crossing the border into horrible leaving the game with few redeeming features at all other than any initial novelty.
All the levels in Ultimate Challenge are by one author, Archer, as can be evidenced if you look in a map editor. On the other hand, I don't know how many mappers did something for RtD but I certainly think Archer tops whoever did do them in the mapping department.
