Borland C++ in windows vista / dosbox

Post by fatalist on Tue Aug 18, 2009 1:21 pm

Hey all,

I can't seem to compile the source code (or use Borland, for that matter) using DosBox / Vista.

Is there any other way I can compile the source code in Windows Vista or using Dosbox / any other application?

Thanks in advance for the info.

Old thread now, but if you're still interested... the SDL version of wolf3d is pretty easy to compile using these instructions:

The DHW threads seems to be down at the moment, but you can still see the topic if you use it's search feature changing these fields:

Search for Author: dcbasic
Topic Starter: Yes
Forum: SDL Code Crackers
Sort by: Ascending
Display Results as: Posts
Return first: All Available characters of posts

And then it should display as the first / top post (the message has red and blue text). Smile I'd recommend this over Borland.
