I think playing mods you've created cause you can say hey I created this and its good. I do like playing other people's mods but you don't get to play all kinds of versions like when its your own mod.

Re: which do you think is more fun?
I voted for 'other people's' because although I like seeing how my own mods come out, when I play others' mods they are not so predictable.

Re: which do you think is more fun?
As far as playing goes, other people's mods are much more fun. By release time, I am kind of tired of my own mod, after testing it so often, etc.
However, creating the mod is probably most fun of all, which is not really a choice on your poll ;-)

Re: which do you think is more fun?
Personally I like my own mod. Not all mods are the best, but the add-on I made, I made it that way because I know someone with my playing style would like. I guess maybe I'm just biased against me?? 0_o

Re: which do you think is more fun?
Maybe it is egotistical, but I voted for my own. Allow me to use an example...
I spent 18 months mapping for Orb of Dilaaria. So much of that time was used to beta-test and play-test the game, that it became hard to actually see the game for what it is. Once it was released, I was able to sit back and simply play it without the burden of looking for mistakes, etc. One of the biggest rewards in working on a mod is seeing the finished project unfold before your eyes - jmo.

Re: which do you think is more fun?
Playing your own mod can be quite predictable and boring if nobody helps
and you are mapper, coder, artist at the same time. A team mod is like a jigsaw puzzle. Each team member contributes a piece of the puzzle. So it's a great pleasure for the team to see the finished jigsaw puzzle.
