Andy Nonymous has sent in an exe that will run 'Hotel Romanstein 6: Last Christmas' in DOS mode. It was created using Chris Chokan's memboost source code, and the details are in the zip's readme.

    It's available from http://www.brlowe.co.uk/HR67EXE.zip .

This works really well, although it's a bit weird killing Sants Claus all the time, especially at this time of the year!

Andy has updated the HR67EXE.ZIP to overcome the disappearing bodies bug, which occasionally occurred. Also, on Hotel Romanstein 7 level 4, where there are 878 static objects, because the MAXSTATS was only 879, actors often could not drop ammo when killed. So Andy raised it to 900 and it now seemed to have solved that problem.

Same filename as the earlier version. It's available from http://www.brlowe.co.uk/HR67EXE.zip .

So is this a fix for HR6 or is this HR7? Sorry, this was a little confusing...

I apologize for the confusion, Dean. It's a fix for both HR6 and HR7. It applies more to HR7 though because that mod has the level with static objects close to the limit.

Both mods will benefit from the occasional disappearing bodies bug fix though.

As for 'Hotel Romanstein 7', it hasn't been generally released yet as it has mild pornographic content. I've written to Mr Choi, author of the mod, asking him if he can make it more acceptable so that everyone can play it. Awaiting this, I'm prepared to email the mod to anyone who requests it and states they are over 18. It's not that bad but bearing in mind that people as young as 9 years old download stuff from my servers then it wouldn't be suitable to post it for general release.

You'd have to use something like DarkOne's NewWolf exe, or the one I listed earlier in this thread coded by Andy/Chris.

Ok, so you use the exe by putting it in your folder and it works, magically?

    Yes, Andy Razz
BTW Brian, I need to contact Chris Choken about this EXE....I would seriously need one of these thingys. I mean, in my levels, there was only 1 level where i didn't have a static object problem.
I soooo gotta talk to that guy.
BTW: Does he do it for free? :/
