    First topic message reminder :

I was thinking since right now the only things going on for TMU are graphics that Team Aardwolf could make a mapset. if you guys don't like the idea I understand. I was thinking that everyone that's a member of Team Aardwolf could make 2 maps. what do you guys think?

this still has the wolf3d title screen right? if so we need to get someone to make the title screen for the mapset.

Ok, James. I'll hold it until this is done.

    Any offers, guys?

I've been playing the latest released version of this (through level 7), and the maps rock! EXE-wise however, the run key has not been restored; I thought the consensus in this thread was that people wanted it (author's choice in any case, though). I also noticed after completing level 5 the message "Trans Grosse defeated" comes up (and no end of level stats). Presumably, all of the Spear boss level mesages will appear. I assume this is not what we want, eh? Wink

Yes, other Spear messages appear later in the set too. I'll ask Ron about it.

I just posted a new version of TA mapset.

There is a new title screen and a few changed objects, most have been used in other mods and they still keep the original Wolf3D feel.

    http://www.brlowe.co.uk/TAMapset6b.zip .

    I'd appreciate any feedback.

The title screen is very nice, and the new plant is good. I'm not sure about the blue lamp, it looks good, but doesn't contrast too well with the blue stone walls. The vines from the AreyeP/MCS mod seem out of place in this set - I prefer the originals.

Yeah, I agree. On my part, I designed the maps to be original Wolf, 'cos it's really not designed for anything "new" if you know what I mean.

I only replaced a few sprites because I didn't want to post id software's original vswap in the final release.

I've put the original vines and green lamp back because I agree with Andy that the new ones can look out of place or clash with walls.

The zip has been updated but I kept the same filename:
