    NOTE TO ALL LEVEL CONTRIBUTORS: You can put up to 699 static objects at one time. If you are going over 399, that's fine!

    We are currently working on a 60-level wolf3d add-on with code changes and very little new graphics. Some levels will have plenty of pushwalls and mazes, so getting 100% everything is quite difficult.
    There is a surprise for those who find the hardest to find secrets in each episode.

    The new zip has an updated wordpad file, new vga files, the 2 new titles screens and now plays ok in both Dos and SDL. All 60 levels have been done and Toni's latest SDL exe is included. I am now done chaging the levels.

    The guides are placed in 1 2007 wordfile. Don't have word 2007? Well, tell me. Oh, and btw, I made even mroe changes, mostly to level 10 and 8 and 9 of episode 1.... in episode 1 level 9, get out of the elevator, quick!!! Smile (on hardest difficulty level)
    The mouse should ship in tomorrow...if it still doesn't, something is definatly wrong. I will be proceeding with the rest of level3 of episode 2, soon... and don't forget top check the guide out if you are stuck!!! I used many hours to make that guide!!! It's a masterpiece, straight from the maker! cyclops

    OK, new exe allows... 100? objects in view, 900? static objects. And I've changed odler levels a tad. New level is going out. It's less of a e2l3, more of a e1l1 type of level.

    This EXE allows 100 objects in view, 900 static objects on a map and 150 guards on a map. Razz

    I'm using a new exe by Nexion. The version is currently 13.96. I am back onto wolf3d bandwagon. I'm editing levels, especially level 7 and 10 of episode 1.
    Edit: now i am editing every level adding many objects. It's taking a long time.

    No, I just made the level and palyed it, didn't get a chance to make a copy....
    Its so corrupted theres random walls everywhere in the whole level. And Ronwolf's exe changes got undone, WTF

    Weird that the exe changes got undone as you say. It sounds like the internal workings of your computer are slowly taking over. Maybe your motherboard is developing a sick sense of humor as the days go on. The only solution may be to concoct a level 15 fire and brimstone potion and nuke your computer. That will teach it...

    Seriously though, when I'm making a level I save it like every few minutes. Then I make a copy. I am a copy freak. I have copies on my pc, laptop, mem sticks...it always pays to be overly safe...

    I over hauled my original thread post. It is now much less cluttered and says clearly which levels are fine.
    I make copies of my mod after I finish a level AND I am done playing it [to make sure there are not bugs-the irony] I'll remake it... Sad
    Oh about the exe changes, that was my head playing tricks on me, the damage flash removal works when god mode is on instead tongue
    How do you think the level looks? Neutral
    It's the most difficult level so far [factoring in the secrets] and I have nto tested everything, so there would still be things to be tweaked.
    Good thing I took a picture.l If I didn't, it would really be a downer.

    Ronwolf changed the maximum to 900 static objects. SO other than that, how do you like the level :O
    I've already redone the level and did some revisions to make the level a little bit better/more playable...
    Few new secrets as well.
    Read the thread title again for the info. I re wrote the stuff so it's actaully read-able.

    Hmmm. I would love to get the code for more static objects... Cool

    Definitely do the remove/hit wall sound. It's easy. Plus, that sound is really annoying. All new mods should have that code feature as a must!

    The mod I'm workin on now has movable objects...still trying to figure out how to code it so I can have more than just one object/sprite movable...

    level looks good tho. Lot's going on. Secrets are a must too, so nice to see that!

    OK, I finsished Mosh Grotto, finally. Once again, about 699 static objects, and lots of guards. Hard to find pushwalls. Lots of outdoor walls and such.

    I just finished my second level for the Super Haven Mapset. It goes best with a blue ceiling colour. I'd suggest e4l2 if it's still free.

    @Eric: The ChaosEdit map file is at http://www.veracottis.co.uk/BlueVelvet.ZIP . The filename needs to be changed to BlueVelvet.MAP once it's downloaded.

    The latest version of the Super Haven Mapset is V0.35a. It has the first 3 episodes done, and also levels 1 thru 4 and level 8 on episode 4.
