    Thanks Linuxwolf! Smile

@OMJ: Andy_Nonymous did the coding for the first part, and in that way he also created the foundation for the second part. How much he exactly did I'm unsure of, as I believe that Linuxwolf jumped in for coding fairly early on in the developmental stage.

Yes Ron is spot on. I don't recall doing any coding for SOD Extreme I. That was all Andy. I then used the same framework for SOD Extreme II.

I played through SOD Extreme I from start to finish. From my progress so far I should be able to do the same in SOD Extreme II.

I made it to secret level 19. I have the gold key but cannot find the locked door for it.

Also I cannot get past the scenery in the open room. There is a guard on the other side who cannot be alerted either. I found a breakable vase on the other side of the wall where he stands so I suspect that wall is a push wall. However I cannot reach it on one side and cannot push it from the other side.

Any help is appreciated! Thoroughly enjoying this mod.

EDIT: I still didn't find gold key locked door in level 19 but I found many others secrets and have moved on to level 5.

This is Dean's map, so I'm not totally familiar with it. But I can try. Where did you find the gold key?

I quickly looked at the map, and it doesn't look like there is a gold key door.

I found the gold key after killing a boss who I found in the E1L1-esque secret at the end of level 19.

Its a pity the engine drops a gold key when no locked doors exist for it. I'd imagine other players will also waste their time looking for it. I wonder if an engine update is warranted.

I don't think it's too big of a deal. And it's the only instance in the game, within a secret level even, where a boss drops a key for a non-existing door. There are instances where boss are encountered that drop keys which the player already collected, but I personally do not mind it.

Be really fast, try to find a safe spot and fight your way back from there. The bottom area in the middle is the best spot for that, I believe (it's Dean's level, so my advice is based on my own playthrough of it).

Hey foxriver84! Actually, there isn't a silver key to be found. When going through the gold key door, you can see, through the columns, mutants in a different room behind the locked door that can't be opened. You have to lure them to you, and then kill one of them in the doorway so the locked door remains open.
