I see no unrealism in Wolf 3D as it's a game.

I do find it strange that BJ eats dog food, even when he's at good health. I think they ought to have slotted it in between 1-25% health for pickup, like blood.

Guards behind pushwalls aren't exactly unrealistic. Pushwalls as a whole are unrealistic, so guards behind them are just an addition and a further revision of the fact. We ought to have more guards behind pushwalls. Who cares if they can't get out? It's a game, daaawg! pig

Yeah in real life, how would guards survive behind pushwalls?

How about, when you push a wall, a huge chunk of wall slides across the floor exactly 3 times its length?

No, here's the most unrealistic thing. BJ, *roars*, war hero, forties, Nazis!

All being directed by a spotty teenage kid pressing buttons and spilling his juice.

I meant unrealisms that are not integrated part of Wolf3D story. I didn't list muntans for example.

Maybe we should make a community Wolf3D mock mod to mock the unrealisms of the original Wolf3D? Smile

    Could be fun Smile

Why the hell not. As long as it stays totally original so that it really mocks the original concept/sprites/unrealism.

    That's what I meant.
Only features we "must" for mocking...a few new sprites and animated objects
Those will be added to original maps.

Should we make it a community project (it's simple coding-wise) or "Team RayCast" project? Or maybe just you and me?

    I'll start making art.

A forum section has been made "Wolf3d Trolling" for this. I got Thomas and Wolfercooker in the hidden group that can access it. Feel free to move this thread to that forum section or delete any posts you think should be.

Because you are the moderator of the group 'Wolf3d Trolling', you can add people if you want, and once added they can automatically see the forum section.

Wolf3d - Most unrealistic thing about Wolf3D and it's basic mods? Empty Re: Most unrealistic thing about Wolf3D and it's basic mods?

I don't know what Grindhouse is, but let's say if "Grindhouse" and Nexion's perception of just that is 100 %, then Ron's idea of this being Grindhouse is 25 % correct. There is some similarity. And I normally don't reply to multi-colored replies 'cause I'm so awesome and fantastic.

What I really mean is this is a Mel Brooks-type of mod.

    too lazy to use quotes,

[b][i]"I don't know what Grindhouse is,"

Well at least one thing you are right about

"but let's say if "Grindhouse" and Nexion's perception of just that is 100 %, then Ron's idea of this being Grindhouse is 25 % correct. There is some similarity."
As above, not even close to it... it didnt even poke grindhouse with a 10m stick

"And I normally don't reply to multi-colored replies 'cause I'm so awesome and fantastic."
Colorblind or some colorphobia that makes you upset?
Your sarcasm is bad and you should feel bad

"What I really mean is this is a Mel Brooks-type of mod."
So you wanna tell us that Spaceballs and Planet Terror are similar?

Insult my fiance again and i wont be so cute anymore ^^

What is this, MTV?! I don't know you guys (if indeed you are two people - your typing is awfully similar - why, that's almost cute), don't know what the hell you've ever contributed to the community except popping in various threads bashing them for not being "100 % correct" or whatever. Move on.

You dont know us and you started with an insult, i know it is internet but still... you dont know anything about specific topic - dont give your opinion about.
You are only like 30th person saying that our typing is similar...
Sure I dont show up in community too often because its tiny comunity and i dont wanna bring to it another boring mapset but if i eventually come up with my mod i want it to be well done (thats why im working on one for like year now).

I was patient, but this is going too much off topic and personal. Please continue this via PMs if you want.
