I thought it would be nice to create a thread in which people can, one at a time per category, make a request for a mod they want converted to SDL. Then Andy or another converter would do whatever has the most requests first, given time and willingness. I split it up into two categories: mods that have small or moderate code changes, versus ones with very high amounts of changes that would likely prove much harder to convert. Thus the ones that are very time consuming can sort of just go along at their own clip, making these independent of the ones that would take less time to convert - so for instance, if this works out we might have five easier to convert mods done before a harder to convert one is finished.
I'm not going to poll since there are far too many mods that at least someone is likely to request a conversion for, and thus would have a far too big poll. But I should fairly easily be able to recognize the ones that get the most requests, which would ultimately be the first to be tackled. If this gets going, I'll probably update this opening post or make a new post tallying what has been requested alongside the number of requests for each one, at least for the ones that are being requested with at least modest frequency.
Personally, I'd have to vote for Orb of Dilaaria in the "difficult" category, and The Golden Episodes in the "easier" category.
My hope is that Andy & any other converters clarify if they are willing to go with this idea; this thread can be stopped if there's little volunteering being shown!
But until then, let's request away!
