Greetings & good day.. Man it is great to see a forum like this. I've been a fan for a long time as most of you also have I am sure. I can remember playing this game from DOS on my folks old Windows 3.1 PC when I was a kid. I can still remember the keystrokes for the cheat codes. HAHA! I downloaded this game for the Iphone when it came out a few years ago and that is when I played Spear Of Destiny for the first time.

Im in the market to purchase the Super Nintendo version of the game..

I am a total nerd. Really into vintage gaming, although just starting to skim the surface.. Grew up playing NES Gameboy & PC games... My random taste can be seen on my tumblr page, twitter or last.fm page, all of which can be accessed by asking me for them links, it appears as if this forum will not let me post them in this message.. Oh well.

Hit me up if you'd like to know anything else..

    Welcome Smile
Always happy to see a new vintage gaming/Wolf3D fan Smile
Nowdays Wolf3D is modded on a modern Wolf4SDL cross-platform modding engine that runs on any comp, can support many resolutions, has no memory limits etc etc....
But on the Wolf3D Dome you can find all the thousands of Wolf3D mods that were made over last 20 years.

    Yeah, I'm too Smile

    Really into vintage gaming
Then you came into the right place Smile
There are 2 main Wolf3D forums (+ my own forum) and there are also great "Commander Keen" modding forum/community, and even "Rise of the Triad" modding forum....
Sure you probably know about Doom/Heretic/Hexen/Strife and "Duke Nukem 3D" modding communities.

, although just starting to skim the surface.. Grew up playing NES Gameboy & PC games...
You can download the emulator and play all those games on modern comp Smile
NES, SNES, SEGA, MAME etc etc etc.
Just search for "sega", "nes', "roms", "emulators", "snes", "mame".....

I am doomwaves. Empty Super NES

I've beaten The Super NES version. All of The dogs were replaced with giant rats. All of the swastikas were taken out. You may like Jurassic Park for The Super NES. Jurassic Park is a bird's eye view game like The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past combined with a mode-7 game like Wolfenstein 3D for the indoor parts. The Super NES mouse from Mario Paint is optional for it. I can beat that game too. I haven't played Jurassic Park 2. You may like NCAA Basketball, which I haven't played yet.

You may like Super Noah's Ark 3D for The Super NES, which I haven't played yet:
    http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=Super+Noah%27s+Ark+3D&_sacat=0

It's the only unlicensed Super NES game in North America.

A company like Wisdom Tree sells the PC version of Super Noah's Ark 3D on their web site. I don't remember the link.

I have to leave in 5 minutes to go to my shift. If you have questions, then I'll answer them in several hours.

Thanks!, hey I tried to access that web site to check out the mods, I could get on there, dunno what the problem is... Oh well.. I'll keep trying. Thanks for the heads up!

I recently discovered doom .wads... I was floored by this, I don't know what rock I have been living under, but I love seeing these fan made maps & such... I am kind of a DOOM fanatic as well, (if you couldn't tell my screen name..HAHA!)

Thanks again for the welcome.. I love to find these sorts of places with like minded individuals.

    Cheers to all!

Right on! I noticed by watching some youtube videos that they've translated it all to English too, which I found pretty funny... I 'd still really like to add it to my collection of random bits of nostalgia. I like to call it my "Collection of Et Cetera"

I am doomwaves. Empty Super Faceball 2000

Post by stathmk Sat Jun 09, 2012 1:22 pm

I had forgotten to mention that there's also Super Faceball 2000 for The NES or Super NES. The year 2000 in the title is misleading because maybe it was made in about 1990. You go around shooting smiley faces in the maze or something.

The Dome website was down most of today due to server problems. It seems ok now.

Well, then those are your links:

    http://forum.zdoom.org

There are probably over 100000.... mods waiting for you, some classic and some on the advanced zDoom/GZdoom/Skulltag(with tons of game modes, multiplayer, clans....)/Wolf3D Legacy (allows 2-player splitscreen Doom/Heretic etc) /Edge/Doomsday ports/engines.

Oh, lucky you - you have more mods to play than you can in 10 years.

Also with advanced Oblige Doom level generator - you can auto-generate endless amounts of good Doom/Doom2/Heretic and such mappacks in seconds.
