    2 Megaman Legends Mods Released

Here's the first 2 in a series of Megaman Legends shareware mods. They are from Keith Krueger. Both have 5 levels of a fair size. Virtually all graphics and some sounds have been changed and the mods have a cartoon type feel. The 2 mods are very similar to each other though the size of the player in the 'Dark' mod is smaller than in 'Angel'. Both SDL and Dos exes are included. Available here - Megaman: Angel and Megaman: Dark. Vista/Windows 7-compatible.

Just played/beat both of them. I think I like the Dark weapons/hud version better overall.

Level 3 took me the longest to beat... but I liked Levels 2, 4 and 5 better for their openness/brightness I think.

I liked the dark version better too. The status bar looked better. The weapons seemed too big in both versions but especially in the angel version.

I think level 2 had the most variation and showed a lot of interesting designs though you could bypass some of it in getting to the exit.

    Mega Man Legends

Post by stathmk on Sun Nov 27, 2011 7:32 am

I haven’t played The Spear of Destiny’s or Wolf3D’s Megaman Legends mod yet.

I don’t have Team Fortress 2, but a search for Megaman Legends on Fileplanet reveals a game mod: http://www.fileplanet.com/search.aspx?searchtype=2&q=Megaman%20Legends and this reveals other files: http://www.fileplanet.com/search.aspx?searchtype=2&q=Mega%20man%20Legends .

I have Mega Man Legends for The Playstation 1. It’s also called Mega Man 64 for The Nintendo 64. I downloaded Mega Man Legends for Unreal Tournament 2004 and played it. I don’t even remember where I downloaded Mega Man Legends for Unreal Tournament 2004.

Retro Blazer is like a Mega Man style game, I guess: http://wolf3d.darkbb.com/t2306-retroblazer-sp-alpha-demo
