ROTT Editing & Modding Forum (Per-scan)

Post by Tragos2d on Mon Sep 12, 2011 11:23 am

I have been trying to join this ROTT forum http://rott.s4.bizhat.com/ for over a week. Sadly it looks like the forum may be going offline for good. From what I can recall there was a bit of good information there between a few of the active members including Perscan, Lawstriker, and even WinRott author Birger himself. I will gladly take over moderation of the site if the lead administrator no longer has the free time to do so. I would at least like to be given the chance to archive some of the text on the forum so can it be saved for another week???

I've asked BizHat.com if they can reactivate it.

Edit: They are quick. Got an email to say it has been reactivated. Very Happy

Great!!! I would hate to lose yet another ROTT resource. Even though I am the only active modder I am aware of? Very Happy

Now if only Per-scan would activate my account....

Some forums require an admin to approve before you can be counted as registered.

I've PM'd the admin about it but he doesn't visit very often and the PM is still in the outbox. Sad

Thanks Brian. I am thinking about starting my own ROTT forum, although it will mainly be dedicated to my current project. It couldn't hurt?

I think part of the reason the ROTT modding community is so small is that most people are under the impression it is difficult to mod for. (not true!)
