    Sentry Turret - Help Empty Sentry Turret - Help

    This might be difficult, but what would be the best way to code a sentry turret? I should first ask whether such an object is even possible in Wolf3d.

    The Sentry is of course stationary with a maximum firing range of around 100 feet. On a separate note what is the scale of measurement/distance in Wolf3d? In Doom 16 Horizontal units = 1 foot. Yeah I think that's correct?

    How would I set a maximum firing distance? If the turret fires invisible projectiles I could have them disappear or change into a version that causes less damage the further they get. Sentry turrets will be deployable and have limited ammo.
