So tell me what you think... I believe this is a really good update for his original mod.
When you have played it out, feel free to post your opinion about this mod.

It's good. The sogns throughout levels are a bit similar. Some coding is done well, but the editting of the maps is a pain, since it will screw up the ceiling and floor textures.

I voted good; would've done excellent except for three reasons:

    1. The F8 and F9 (quick-save/load) keys don't work, and in fact they make the game crash back to windows. So I had to use the somewhat more time-consuming F2 and F3 for save/load instead.

    2. If you get the regenerating-armor on the secret Level 20, you carry it permanently, and this IMO makes the rest of the set too easy. I actually restarted from scratch with --tedlevel on Level 13 to get the challenge back.

    3. I couldn't finish the last level (18) because at one point I'm shooting down guards and all of a sudden the game just crashes. Consistently.

But despite those three flaws, there's too much good in this game for me to even think about rating it below a "good". It was just really close to getting "excellent" in my view, I'd hardly mark down for item #2 I listed; that's just personal taste, but items 1 and 3 are hard to totally forgive, esp. item 1, which was quite annoying, esp. when I hit F8 by accident and would have to restart the game immediately. Sad

Strong work overall though, indeed. Smile

    Nice rundown WolfForever.

As for point 2 I thought it came at a point where it was quite welcome. I'd been scrounging for health fro so many levels it was nice to just forget about it for a while, especially as there was so much going on in the mod at the same time.

I had no crashing incidents, except for the F8 thing as well, I think this should be compulsory in every mod also!

The only problem I had was the green gas level, it took my many, many goes to get through that on 100%. There's no substitute to the sense of achievement of playing every level of every mod on the hardest difficulty to 1005 of everything! Smile

    Thanks for nice complement(s). Smile

For the armor thing it's probably we just have different opinions. I like to be challenged pretty intensely myself, and was enjoying the strong challenge this mod presented. But clearly #2 is a very subjective matter, I can easily see how you might disagree, and really it isn't something I'd take off points from the mod for. But the F8 thing certainly is.

Green gas map wasn't a problem for me, but only because I don't care about percents. I could imagine 100% in it would be a nightmare. Especially if you didn't get to Level 20 (for the regenerating armor) beforehand.

In the beginning that mod has seemed the simple, the usual.
Now I play and I change again and again.
Fine atmosphere, excellent levels, good opponents. I hope there will be a continuation.. Very Happy

If I was to revote here I'd probably sneak in the Excellent because I found a way around the crash on Level 18. I am voiding the criticism about the mega-armor carrying because it is obviously a personal preference and you have to find the secret level anyways - I guess you deserve a break of sorts. So only the F8/F9 problem remains, and a few occasional random bugs (like the case where Level 18 turned terminal on me). But after thinking about how much of an achievement virtually everything else in the mod is, I can't any more really bring myself to knock it down below excellent, so let me say that despite the problems (mostly bugs) it honestly slips in to that category, even if just barely.
