Super 3D Noah's Ark For PC

Has anyone actually played through the full game on PC? I've got the demo but I'm loathe to buy a TC that should by all rights be free!

I actually quite like the demo. It's a bit of silly fun and a nice distraction from all the Nazi killing that goes on around these here parts.

So, have you played the full game? And if you have did you enjoy it at all? Is it different from it's SNES counterpart??

AFAIK, there's no demo of this. You sure you don't have the full game (30 levels)?

Well, I dl'd it a while back and it was marked as a demo. The folder size is 1.79 Meg if that's any help. But, it looks like your right. All 6 chapters are accessible.

Is the SNES version just the same game then? Same levels etc?

yes- I managed to download the full version
and it's better than the snes version, which isn't saying much
it's kind of embarrassing to realize that you got beaten by a cranky camel
yes, there are cheats in the game, but you use tilde instead of tab+ whatever, and the cheats do work (at least the .BAT does)

oh, I"m such a bad person-cheating in such a game, but it was just for fun
I hope that iD got a bunch of money for licencing the Wolf 3d engine. This is kinda, sorta fun, but not the kinda fun you might want your friends to see you having, more of a guilty pleasure, I guess. Good for a laugh and a one-time play through
but as for spending more than, say $5 on it, no.

Can I ask what makes the PC version better? Is it just the graphics having a higher resolution or is there more to it than that?

I really like the catapult as a weapon. It's different from any other FPS weapon, that's for sure. It's also got the potential to be a seriously good stealth weapon in a more serious mod. I know it was used in Operation Hundscheisse but I'd like to see it used more...

As I understand Id gave them the engine to use, I don't think money was handed over. It was more about Id p!ssing off Ninty after the Wolfenstein debacle. I may be wrong though.

Anyway, it's good to see at least a couple of people who've played this.
