world. Then on June 13, 2013. The world is in living hell. the world is
full of Vampires. The Vampires Calls themselves "The Vampiric Legion"
(VL). They took over the World. everything But the Humans formed "The
World Union" (WU) to fight of the Vampires. The 1st Battle Took over
100,000 humans died, most are taking alive for sacrifice. The Legion
have one Mission: "Reviving Lord Dracula". On June 17, We invented new
Bullet the UV Bullets. We tested on a Capture Vampire and it worked.
Then the Legion Attacked Pearl Harbor, This time we have an Upper Hand.

The music files are downloaded separately from the rest of the game and are placed in a folder named 'music'. The music folder should be created inside the main Project X folder, in the same way that there is a 'sounds' folder.

    Once again, thank you. Smile

The music adds so much to this map set. From what I can tell it was a little controversial upon release (not least because of the WASD controls) but I, for one, am really glad it's out there. It really is Wolfenstein 3D Next Gen. Does Richter Belmont frequent this forum much or does he hang around at Die Hard?

Project: X Empty It makes me wonder...

Post by stathmk Fri Oct 01, 2010 10:23 am

I'm just wondering since you have vampires in your story. Is Richter Belmont your real name or did you nickname yourself after Simon Belmont from the Castlevania video games series with vampires?

I had a professor from Romania. He said that there were 2 Draculas. They were father and son. One of them was Vladimar Tepes or Count Von Vlad the Impaler. On the History Channel, he killed 23,000 people and kept their noses apparently as trophies.

I'm kind of confused if serial killer Elizabeth Bathory from the Romania area was technically called a vampire. She killed 600 or 900 people.

Some historians believe that the reason why so-called vampires had fangs was because a disease like cholera made their gums recede. So-called vampires seemed to be dead for a day and then rose because they had rabies, typhoid, typhus, or cholera. Some believe that Alexander The Great's body didn't rot for a day after death because he had typhoid or typhus. Some infections cause insanity. There's a photosensitive disorder that I think is called Xeroderma Pigmentosa where they hang out at night and sleep inside during the day. This might have played into the vampire legend. M Knight Shayamaylan's "The Others" is based on this photosensitive disorder.

I'm beginning to sound like Cliff Claven from Cheers or Wilson from Home Improvement.

I had an interesting uncle that lived in Hawaii and visited Pearl Harbor. He also visited Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the 1960s. He died in 2003 in his 70s.

Holy cow! Shocked The largest file to download is 132 megabytes! It must be Wolfenstein 3D file size on high-potency steroids. I'll play this game on this weekend.

If you haven't already played it I highly recommend it. It's like no other Wolf mod out there and I think the music's worth the bandwidth. Smile

BTW: Does anyone have a working part 7 of the music files? I've tried a million times over the ages but have never succeeded in getting it dl'd...

PS: Richter Belmont is another family member in the Castlevania games. I think he was in Symphony of the Night amongst others. Smile

I noticed this on the DHW forum and I can't wait! BTW, I just tried to download Part 7 of the music file but I still have the same problem. I download the file but it's only 0 bytes. Is there any chance that yo could stick the music up on Mega Upload or something? Thanks and sorry for the hassle... Smile

Very nice! I'm glad to see that you've retained the map - that's one of my favourite features.

On another topic, I have a request/suggestion. I have no idea if it's possible as I haven't seen it in any other W3D mod but could you make the weapons scroll with the mouse wheel like more up to date games? I don't mean to hassle you, it's just a daft request... Smile

Regardless, the HUD looks good and I look forward to playing the revamped version. Oh, and I'm sorry that you were treated badly at the ZDoom forums. They can be a bit pathetic sometimes... Sad

I hope the mapping is good. Project X was interesting in coding, but sometimes the mapping was so-so. Many long empty hallways. I can beta test if you want. I was once addicted tof inding every glitch in a game on the DS. I found plenty.

    EDIT: Guess not. Razz
