This is the thread where I benchmark browsers. Why, you ask? What is a benchmark? A benchmark is basically something that tests something or someone for their skill/speed/mastery. In this case, it's the speed of the browsers, mostly. So, for now, there will be one test:
The Java Script Peecekeeper Test by Futuremark

Under the same conditions, Chrome 6.0.472.51 beats opera 10.61 by about 4%. Chrome Canary 7.0.503.0 comes in after Opera 10.61. IE8 came in dead last by a huge margin.
The point of this thread is to update the results with new versions of the respective browsers. Some people on the net' cannot find the most up to date benchmarks on browsers, so I try to help. Also, I somehow find benchmarking browsers fun.
The computer used to test this is a netbook with a basic Atom processor, and integrated Intel graphics.
