Yahoo has unlimited email storage and a lot of clubs, but you get a lot of spam.

I'm not sure about Gmail. Your Youtube account and everything else will be connected to Gmail.

I'm thinking about getting a new separate email address to put on my next web site. What are the best free email providers without much spam?

Best free email providers without much spam? Empty inbox.com?

Post by stathmk Thu Jul 29, 2010 5:46 pm

I’m thinking about using inbox.com. Does anybody use inbox.com?: http://email.about.com/od/freeemailreviews/tp/free_email.htm . Does anybody remember the difference between IMAP and POP mail?

From what I can remember, IMAP keeps the email stored on the server and POP gets downloaded to your PC. IMAP is great if you have multiple computers from which you want to access mail. Downside is if you get a tremendous amount of mail, server space can get eaten in a hurry. I use POP 95% of the time, but that's me.

Well, I use Hotmail and I am fine. I get alot of spam... but they are always in my spam folder by default. So I never get a single spam message in my inbox.
