Doom 2 Coming to Xbox Live Arcade

Finally! We are getting Doom 2 on Xbox Live Arcade! It's priced at 800 MP or $10. Here's a little snippet about it:

"A whole new episode will be included, along with all of Doom 2's
original content. Four-player split-screen multiplayer will be available
in addition to online play."

Looking forward to this one for sure!

Well, I picked up Doom II today on Xbox Live Arcade. It still rocks and brought back some good memories. It also comes with a completely new game/mission. It's like id made a whole new Doom II mission for this release which is really cool.

The only thing that stinks is there is no "widescreen" mode, so on my HD flat screen it has those two nasty black bars displayed to the left/right of the picture. Ugh.

An extra episode!? You can buy Final Doom for The PC, Macintosh, or Playstation 1. It’s 2 new episodes of Doom 2. The extra episodes are TNT and Plutonia. Somebody said that there’s an Egyptian secret level. I don’t know much else about Final Doom other than you can get it in Doom Collector’s Edition or here:

There’s also 20 regular levels and 1 secret level in Master Levels for Doom 2. I bought it in 1996 or 97 and it came with a poster inside. So technically, I guess that you can call it a lost episode. It’s not freeware. It comes with a level launcher. It came with Maximum Doom, which is something like 1,000 levels for Doom and Doom 2: http://store.steampowered.com/app/9160/

While I'm talking about extra Doom 2 episodes, if you download Skulltag, it comes with 2 new episodes for Doom 2. The Skulltag download is temporarily unavailable because it’s moving from skulltag.com to skulltag.net. Risen3D comes with extra levels for Doom and Doom 2 that take advantage of coding and extra features. You should be able to get Risen3D here at http://risen3d.drdteam.org/ , but why on Earth are the download web sites for both Skulltag and Risen3D down?

In TNT:Evilution have Egyptian secret level, its lvl31 called Pharaoh. Doom II have 2 unofficial commercial add-ons: Hell To Pay and Perditions Gate.

I don't have a PS3 or X-Box. I don't have RTCW yet. Is it true that when you beat RTCW for either The Playstation 3 or The X-Box, that it unlocks Wolfenstein 3D? Do you know which console it is?

wolf3d is included as a bonus in the GOTY edition of RTCW. I dont know if it's only available after you complete RTCW though.
