I think I had a problem like this. Use dosbox and tell me what happens.

I don't personally know what the error is. But try running your mod with VDMsound instead of DosBox. See what happens. I have found that DosBox gives me some troubles. Not all secret passages move back 3 spaces and Fake Hitler fire balls go much faster than in VDMsound. Just a suggestion...

Of course Wolf3d SDL works fine. It's a 32bit windows application...
You need a faster CPU for a higher Dosbox framerate.

The new graphic driver might caused system problems. Maybe the installation corrupted a few system files. Check if autoexec.nt, config.nt, command.com or any other important files aren't modified/corrupted. Run windows repair mode, a system check or whatever.

Huh, redone? Installed xp again? I assume you haven't replaced, installed or modified anything system related besides the new graphics card since your last wolf3d play. You should install the graphics driver so that the card works properly. For the system repair/check: run "cmd" and type "sfc /scannow"

That won't change it.. I know because the same thing is happeneing to me, I'm getting it as well.
It doesn't affect the game in any way, it's just there after you finish playing and I don't know why either. My EXE is running beautifully, I'm just left with the same message after playing.

Interesting, so you get the message after you close wolf3d, and so it does not interfere with the gameplay at all? For me, the message apear before the game starts, with close or ignore buttons.
