what would be cool is if there was some sort of modding pack that came along with this but I doubt that will happen.

Let's talk about game consoles. I don't know how it's going to be done on X-Box Live and The Playstation Network, but apparently the SDL Community Map Project can work on Dreamcast:
http://wolf3d.darkbb.com/dome-news-f2/w3d-cmp-sdl-source-code-released-t1275.htm#10931
I downloaded that zip file and one of the readme files was about the MAME arcade machine emulator. I've heard of The MAME emulator but I've never used it before. It sounds cool.
If any of you know how to make mods for these consoles then please post. Somewhere on the Wolfenstein 3D Dome News, Schabbs posted about somebody making a mod for the Virtual Boy. It sounds cool to me, however at least in The U.S. the Virual Boy didn't sell very well.
I have Wolfenstein Super Upgrades, which includes a level editor. It came with a message that this level creator can be used for the PC Blake Stone game and The Super Nintendo Wolfenstein 3D game. Do a web search for ZSNES emulator or SNES emulator. I kind-of guess that if somebody knows enough about computer programming, then they could make their own SNES rom game.

Being able to have your mod run on xbox360 would be amazing. One day I think I will delve into the sdl wolf source and make a mod with it. I am curious to know if it would be possible to port to the 360. I guess for now, anyone who has a HDtv can link their laptop right to it, thus having your mod "run" on your tv...

I currently have the Final Fight running on my dreamcast. it really isn't all that hard, but my port to the Dreamcast doesn't have the readme so I probably won't release it.

Bones Alert?
I've beaten "Spear: End of Destiny" and it has an awesome final level. I've never heard of Bones Alert. Please tell me more.Dark_wizzie wrote:I don't have a dreamcast.
