I noticed that there are a "What music are you listening to" and What TV program are you watching" topics, but not a video game topic. So, I thought I would start one . This topic can include anything from Pong, to a Wolf3d Mod, or anything current. Pretty much anything that is considered a video game fits this topic!

Fallout 3 DLC Mothership Zeta...

This link shows screenshots of Newwolf with the new textures and should

Sorry about the previous post, I misunderstood. You were playing the new Wolfenstein! I saw it at the store for 50 dollars. If I can actually complete RTCW, then I'll buy it.

Looks blurry whent he picture is so big

Well, blurry is better then enormous pixels. It is a big improvement over the originals sprites, but they are still basically the original so not much more detail. The main effect is removing the pixelization when getting near the creatures and adding dimension to the sprites.

So if anybody wants to design 3D models, I'm all for it! But I think realistically, it would have happened by now if somebody was going to do so. Even the Doom II 3D models are blurry when you move up to them (alot of them anyway, not all).

Batman Arkham Asylum. Completed today! A GREAT game. If you like Batman just a little bit then you NEED to play this!

Is the high resolution walls and such for only that mod? Or is it good for every mod? I think it's the fromer >.>

You can only use the high resolution textures for the walls in a source port that supports them. There's probably no way you could work them into one of the mod's that uses the original wolf executable file.

That same site though says they will also enhance the graphics for Wolfendoom! I totally love those mods and think that would be one of the coolest things anybody has ever done! But we'll have to see if they actually deliver on the promise. The designer of the original Wolfendoom, to my knowledge, left modding at least 5 years ago so to get any kind of update would be great. Technically you could probably rename alot of the textures from the Wolfenstein pack for Newwolf we're talking about, and make alot of them work for Wolfendoom if you wanted, but alot of the textures probably wouldn't match the original. Been along time since I've played Wolfendoom so I'm not really sure how well they'd match. I recently merged 2 different graphics packs into one for Doom and Doom II, the best of a really old 200MB pack nobody seems to have anymore from at least 5 years ago with a newer lower res set that has many that are still better then the old set. It looks fantastic. I'd like the same attention to all things Wolfenstein. I'm not an artist myself so can't really design them.

Edit. You would of course need to use a source port like Risen 3D (the only one I've seen Wolfendoom work properly on that actually uses your 3D hardware) for those textures to work at all. It won't work in the Doom engine either.

Last night I got the RED RING OF DEATH! It's my second time! Well, no 360 gaming for me for 2-3 weeks. Microsoft-you stink.

Got my 360 back (finally)! Played more Batman Arkham Asylum on my brand new HD tv. Awesome!
