Wolfenstein 3D for Xbox Live Arcade
It seems that Wolf3d is coming to Xbox Live Arcade, which means I will probably be buying the game for the 3rd time in my life. Never played with a controller before. I look forward to that. Plus-more achievements!!

Wolf3d is here for Xbox Live Arcade! Of course, the minute I got back online today I had to download it. This is the 4th time/iteration of Wolf3d I have purchased. 1.The original back in 1992. 2. For Game Boy Advance. 3.Downloaded it through Id's website when I got back into it last year. 4.Now for Xbox Live.
I just played for a moment and I must say it feels weird playing with a controller. Plus, it is not exactly the same as the original. Some menu options look different and there is no way to adjust the speed of player turning. I was geeked about what achievements they would have and they are all pretty simplistic for a veteran Wolfer. Still, it will be fun to get achievements in a Wolfenstein game!!!

What kind of achievements are there? They should have one for finding the Aardwolf sign.

Hehe. Not sure if the Aardwolf sign is in this version. As far as what kind of achievements: 6 achievements for beating each individual episode. Achievements for finding a secret passage, getting 100% ratios in treasure, kills on a single floor and also for beating a level on death incarnate. Pretty straight forward.
However, one of the achievements I unlocked gave me points to spend for upgrades in the upcoming Wolfenstein game!! That was pretty neat

Update: Just completed Episode 3. There were no ghosts in the secret level!?! They were Fake Hitlers. Not sure if this is the first time for that or what. Also, I was unable to see if the Aardwolf sign was in Ep2. Even using ChaosEdit as a guide, I messed up the secret passages. Don't know HOW I found that years ago...

Update:I have unlocked all achievements for the Xbox Live Arcade version of Wolf3d! It wasn't really that hard. It was fun to play through all the episodes again. Had been years since I did that. Forgot how great Ep6 was. Lot's of tight areas, tons of guards and a really tought secret level!
