ChaosEdit headaches again!ARGGGGGG

When I load up my add-on, it isnstantly crashes, with the infamous 'chaosedit has encountered a problem and needs to close' message. Any solutions? Btw, it was working fine the day before.
Edit: I would like to point out that, the thing crashes only if i load the real thing. I load the backup, no problems, but only the real thing has my newest level on it, and I spent quite some time in it.
Edit again: I found out that I can't even play my game now, for some reason. it just starts on the first slide with the 'memory availible' thing, before you get to the menu. it just loads forever. If i cannot retrive the map back, I think I'll get pissed Mad

How many objects and actors are there in your map?

I suggest perhaps opening with another editor to see what the problem is. If it crashes, hopefully it will at least have a more in-depth error message about what the problem is.

Um,,. like 250 static, 148 soldiers. none of them passed the maximum limit.
Also, when I load part by part, it says "there may be data loss which "may" be recoverable"

I hate to double post, but I hate losing this map even more... anybody got a suggestion? the part it crashes is the maps and the graphics. (it says graphics) I really hate losing my best map due to some weird chaosedit error. btw, this has happened before...
I'll just stop making maps...I can't have chaosedit bomb out when I need it, and for ti to crash my whole wolf3d out of sheer chance. And without any idea of the cause, I could very well happen again when I reconstruct the map.
