Re: Mod creation question
Welcome to the forum, Xaero. Here's a list of some sites that I hope will be helpful...
One of the most useful tools for editing Wolf3D is ChaosEdit. You can do most things with that and is at http://www.chaos-software.de.vu/ .
Another page with a number of utilities including IMFCreator, WDC (another multi editor like ChaosEdit) is at WinWolf3D at http://winwolf3d.dugtrio17.com/download.php .
There's a number of editing sections (including a utilities page), at my main website the Dome at http://www.wolfenstein3d.co.uk/news.htm . Some older editors like Mapedit and Floedit are listed there. I still use Mapedit7.2 for simple map editing. It's easy to use but is DOS based and doesn't have the advanced features of ChaosEdit etc. Floedit is windows based and can be used for mapping, graphics and sounds etc but can be a bit buggy.
For the source code, there is a lot of info, downloads and links to tutorial pages at http://www.btinternet.com/~belowe/ .
Hope this helps.

I use Chaosedit. I like the 3d view which shows how your wolf3d will look like. Making wolf3d is actually so easy... you put in walls around level, add some enemies, objects, a starting point object, and an elevator wall. finished.
