As a suggestion there doesn't seem to be a 'bad-post' button.

I say this because I was trying to alert the Moderators of a bad post and advertising links in one of the threads by a user named 'Mimi'

You might want to add a button so that anyone can warn you guys whenever any of us find a bad post. Just a suggestion to help you all out.

What's the best free program that you recommend to zip up files to email them? I have about 30 files of a shareware mod disk that I bought that need to be zipped together to be sent over email. I know that I could try download.com, but I thought that I'd ask for your opinions first.

I was playing a total conversion named "The False Spear" and made it to level 7. In one of the cells was a B.J. Blazkowics doppelganger. He was laying down holding the spear and a gun just like at the end of "The Spear of Destiny." This Easter Egg made me wonder. What are the oddest, funniest, or most interesting Easter Eggs that you have found in a mod, add-on, or total conversion for Wolfenstein 3D or The Spear of Destiny?

This is a really easy tutorial...

Though I suppose in this tutorial that you have enabled WSJs

in-game messages and Flamer46s timer display.

We start from WL_Def.H. Add these lines in the end of the file:

Code:

//--Bomb variables

int bombs;

int bombcount;

int active;

int deact;

int test;

//--

Now open WL_Agent.C (the main code is implemented here),

and search for "Thrust" (without quotes). Now in the end of the

function add these lines:

Code:

if(*(mapsegs[1] ...

Wolf3D Nintendo VB Box Art/PVB Coding Competition

Here's some box art Dan Szymanski has made for a future Wolf3D Nintendo VB version. Currently, there's a coding competition being held at www.vr32.de, so hopefully somebody will enter a version of Wolf3D for the Nintendo VB.

DOSBox 0.72 Released

DOSBox 0.72 has been released. There's a number of improvements listed on the site news. I tried it though with some games with a lot of code changes (like End Of Destiny), and there was still quite a lot of drag with these.

It's at http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1 .

Hi, everybody!

I stumbled across this forum browsing for MIDI music from Wolfenstein3d and DOOM. And now I've taken the time to register.

Nick's Cardinal, I'm 34 years old, come from Germany and I'm a student of law over here.

I played Wolfenstein3d in its year of release - my sometime neighbors then would wonder now and then why shooting sounds could be heard from my appartment then.

Since then, I haven't forgotten about the game - tried "Return to Castle Wolfenstein", but my computer ...
