The Lost Files: france

Post by lilmanjs

I've started working on a mod all of my own. RgamesINC(john) has made me a new SS guard and fireboy224(Shane) is making a few maps. the coding won't be advanced and there are only going to be 15 levels but it should be fun. it will feature the final fight walls and some new ones. the coding will be as follows:
seamless 15 levels
110% health and 200 ammo
might do textured floors and ceilings, but I don't know if people would really like to see it.
there will be new music.
some screens will be released this week, but I've only started work on the mod yesterday.

Hey LIL, what type do u want the levels to be, in order or random? also what area, dungeon, castle, a camping area. just something

Post on Tue Oct 16, 2007 12:11 pm by lilmanjs

well the storyline is that you are playing as B.J in a nazi base that's in france. it will take place during the time that germany had controll of france.

Post on Tue Oct 16, 2007 12:14 pm by fireboy224

so its a order map? like if u exit a elevator, u start in a elevator, or just random maps.

Post on Tue Oct 16, 2007 12:16 pm by lilmanjs

every level after level 1 should have you start in an elevator.

the mod now has a title and will be the first in a series. thanks go to karharis for the idea of making it a series. if you guys have any ideas for where the next installments of the series should take place please say so. any ideas are welcome. I know I have the Team Aardwolf mods to deal with but this series will probably only have 10-20 levels for each part of the series.

here is a promo for The Lost Files series:
These missions were undertaken in secret and have not been told of till today. A 50 year lockup of these files has come and gone. Since the files could not be touched for 50 years its natural that they were lost and could not be found. The building that they were housed in first was brought down and the files were moved and thought to be not of importance since they just had the words mission briefings and reviews. Little did anyone know that they were the files of many lost missions of the man known as B.J. Blazkowicz. These missions will not be told in one mod and cannot be told that way. They can only be told of as little mods since the missions were secret and they didn't really involve going to really big places. B.J. was sent to many places and hopefully all of the missions will be told of. He was sent all around the globe from France to Russia and From Japan to South America.

What's wrong with the stat-bar? ><
Overall it looks good Smile

Post on Sat Oct 20, 2007 2:11 pm by lilmanjs

well the status bar needs to be edited so that the numbers will fit in the spaces. I will try to get this mod done soon as I may be doing sonder maps and that will probably take a lot of time to make maps. this series and TMU are my main things I'm focusing on right now though.

I have no clue where to start a thread on this so I might use some of these level designs in this mod.

@James: I got another idea for you. We can make the sequel to take place in Africa, we can use WSJ's Afrika Corps soldiers that he made, and I can fetch or create some more graphics to suit the atmosphere Smile. So tell me what you think of it, we can call it,
The Lost Files: Tobruk

Post on Tue Oct 30, 2007 1:35 pm by lilmanjs

that sounds good. how about that for the 3rd in the series. I was thinking that in the 2nd in the series that he goes to russia and he has to fight nazis as well as russians.

Fighting both Russians and Krauts? >_< I thought the Russians suppose to be good..
Maybe the fight will be in Russia but he will fight the Krauts in order to liberate a Russian Village from siege or something like that.. That sound more realistic Wink so tell me what do you think of it.

I must say that I've been working on some maps and shane is working on the first boss level. this mod won't come out very quickly due to the fact that dean is going to make a map. who liked the demo?
