Final Fight will be remixed

Post by lilmanjs

ok so for a little while I've been working on a modded version of my award winning mod Final Fight. I've decided to remix it. I don't know if it will be a wolf3d haven only release or be released on the dome. the remix will feature about 1 or 2 songs from the upcoming Team Aardwolf mod The Mutant Uprising(in each section of the mod) and will also feature a few new TMU guards. also I am thinking of making a few new levels if you guys think that's a good idea. a new exe shall be made with seemless levels and such.

I guess my annotated version would be obsolete if you add additional guards or new levels.

no it won't be obsolete at all. your guide is for the regular version of FF and the remixed version will be released only on the wolf3d haven if its released at all.

Yes, the standard 'Final Fight' version will still be listed as the main version in the add-ons lists and will have the annotated files included when the final 2 episodes are done.

The remix if listed will be an extra and not a replacement for the standard set.

Oh, so future downloads of The Final Fight will have the annotated files built right in? That's a great idea. I hope you guys like how my in game storyline has evolved from Episode one through four. For the first three episodes, Irons is making a report to HQ by radio at the end of each episode. For episode four, he has written his instructions specifically for BJ, and sent them by 'messenger' after his radio is destroyed. The notes are very brief for episodes five and six, because Irons is leaving information for BJ as he completes each floor, written in Nazi blood at each elevator. The other clues left by Irons are found in the saved games themselves, and will be explained in the epilogue text file included with the final installment. I don't want to give away the ending, but it will be...existensial.

I have completed floor 3 of episode 5, with 100% kill, no loss of health at any time, and only two shots from the pistol fired.

Two floors left.

The last installment of my annotated version has been sent to Brian. Watch Dome News for the posting. I hope you all have as much fun with this as I did. I probably won't annotate another one for a while. It's back to font making for me.

Thanks Peter for completing the last installment. I'm looking at it now and will get it on Dome News by tomorrow.

For those who want to download it now, it's at http://www.brlowe.co.uk/TheFinalFightEps5&6annotated.rar .
